Pad Type 01 · Wellhead & Gathering Proximity
Level ground next to producing wells or a gathering tap.
Modular generators and compute containers placed on field gas need a short, unobstructed fuel-line run from the wellhead separator, central tank battery (CTB), or gathering meter, plus all-weather caliche or gravel road access for 40-foot trailers and service trucks. Typical footprints range from 0.5 to 5 usable acres outside the active well-workover radius.
We check what matters before a buyer or operator wastes a field trip: who owns the surface fee, what existing oil and gas leases or pipeline easements cross the tract, whether the pad sits out of the 100-year floodplain, and how far the fuel interconnect sits from the proposed pad boundary.
